Develop and Enhance Self-Regulation in Early Childhood Environments (Friday AM)

Self-regulation is the capability to handle thoughts, emotions and behaviors when feeling overwhelmed. Self- regulation is a brain-based skill that develops in children over time and with practice. Children need to enhance self-regulation skills because it is the key to their happiness and helps them do well in social, emotional, behavioral and academic challenges.
