Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness month, a time to raise awareness and to break down the barriers and stigma associated with diseases that affect our brain and our behavior.
The Department of Children and Families’ Division of Children’s System of Care (CSOC), along with their network of system partners, works hard to offer programs and services that support families with children that have behavioral challenges. During COVID-19, they have made a conscious and important effort to remind families that social distancing shouldn’t mean social isolation and that help is just a phone call away.
Additional support materials can be found on the CSOC COVID19 publications page.
