Power to the Profession Task Force
Power to the Profession is a national collaboration to unify the early childhood education profession birth through age 8 by working with national and state organizations—and most importantly, with you—to establish a unifying framework for career pathways, knowledge and competencies, qualifications, standards and compensation.
Thirteen of us went to Washington DC for a Public Policy Forum to support Power to the Profession and a few other items. You can access the recap here.
Gov. Murphy Proposes Significant Funding for Pre-K Expansion
Although additional details will be available in the coming days, the $83 million proposed in the governor’s first budget provides $50 million in new funding for pre-k expansion for more communities.

On May 21, 2018, ACNJ will hold an event entitled Strolling Thunder NJ, at the State Capitol in Trenton to bring attention to issues affecting infants, toddlers and their families.
This might be something fun in your home, office, classroom to make an easy indoor garden for herbs, flowers, tomatoes, or whatever.
