Fostering Social-Emotional
Development of Young Children

Click to download flyer & form

From early in life, how well we get along with one-another matters. Now, with the influence of mass media, screen time, and stressed parents and caregivers, it is more important than ever to explicitly foster the social-emotional development of young children and provide them with learning environments that are positive, supportive, and caring. We will discuss how this is happening in preschools, public schools, and in homes, with practical takeaways.

Presented by: Maurice J. Elias Professor, Psychology Department, Rutgers University and Director, Rutgers Social-Emotional and Character Development Lab
